The weather is still very warm and humid despite occasion rain.  I spend most of my time in the office during week days where I could enjoy the cool breeze in the air conditioned room,  I could feel the heat as soon as I step out from the office at the end of the days' work.

Interior painting for our house

It has been 5 years now since we moved into our house, due to budget constraint, we only afford to do some refurbishment and painting before moving in, it was not a renovation but simply touched up on the falling ceiling and gave the dirty and peeling off walls some painting.

We have been wanting to give a new look to our house, needed a change of feng shui to enhance the good luck chi coming into our home.  At the moment, most of the interior walls are painted white except our bedrooms are pink.  It was my idea to have white walls during that time because my eye sights are poor, white tends to brighten up the house easier especially during the night.  The paint somehow faded over the years, It is time to repaint our house.

The first thing we ask ourselves is what color should we choose this time for a fresh new look.  There are four of us in the house, each one of us has different preference...blue, purple, beige, brown or combination of few colors ??   We ended up arguing, thus, the project is still on hold.  How I wish we could hire a professional painter like hingham painters to take care of the project, from initial planning, giving us the advise on the colors, the budget, time frame of completion, and guarantee of quality work done.  One thing I dislike about refurbishment is the cleaning up the mess after that.  We have to move the furniture and fittings to make way for the painting, the mobilization itself will tend to cause damage to our furniture, we have to take all these into account if we were to do the project ourselves, which we do not have the expertise to handle all these..the best solution would be to hire a professional painter to take care of this for us. 

Nuffnang Commission

My commission cheque from Nuffnang has finally arrived through the post yesterday exactly 1 month after I requested for payment.  This is the first cheque that I received from them,  it is the accumulation of commission generated from this humble blog of mine from November 2010 till November 2014, I noticed that there isn't any more commission coming from them after that.

  Besides blog advertisements, there are other activities offered to its community but all happenings are concentrated in West Malaysia.  I hope they will extend some to East Malaysian's bloggers.

 

 

My Nuffnang Earnings

It has been 6 years now since I joined Nuffnang.  This is the first time I cash out from my Nuffnang account.  It took me more than 6 years to accumulate the amount of RM95.42.  I will have to wait for another few more years for the next cash out...:D  It would be interesting to know any members who earn sufficient to cash out on a monthly basis.

Now I am waiting to receiving the cheque through my mail box in a month of so.  With the availability of ebanking system nowadays, the payment process could be made faster than before. Anyway, be blessed with what is given to me and hope that the cheque will land safely in my mail box.  Thank you Nuffnang.

A Sunday at home

We stayed at home the whole day on last Sunday. Did not go out to even for our usual badminton session because Clet decided to skip it for he is not feeling too well after visiting his farm in the morning.

While juggling between house chaos and preparing meals, I had the inspiration to write quite a lengthy article about "21 ways to make extra money", this article is published on both Triond and wikinut, these are the two online publishing sites that allow their members to earn passive royalty income for the articles they have submitted. I have been earning from Triond for more than a year now, even for the months I did not submit any articles at all, I still earn something.

I have just joined wikinut a week ago for it is a UK base company, I was fascinated to know that wikinut allows its member to earn in sterling pound, yes!! it is in British Sterling Pound, the conversion is 5X of Ringgit, it is hard to find such an opportunity......

Our girls prefer to spend time at home as well. After a whole 5 days of staying in the school for Pearl and tuition for Crystal, I could imagine how comfortable it is to be at home enjoying computer games and drawing among other stuff that they like to do at home.

Pearl spent her time on water colouring while Crystal was busy with her computer games, she assembled her colouring tools and wore a waist herself to prevent getting her T-shirt dirty (must wear a waist, it is an order by her Daddy) before her colouring session. She cleaned up the table as well after she finished colouring, good girl!!
Meals was simple for the lazy Sunday afternoon, they have no complain having pancake for lunch and afternoon tea, I prepared plain pancake for our girls, and green tea or matcha pancake for us.
With the leftovers of the strained carrot and pumpkin from the juices, I used them to make carrot and pumpkin pancakes as well, Clet said it's taste good, can sell. Seriously, the carrot and pumpkin pancakes taste real good.

Benefits of sea salt

Do you know that there are differences between iodized salt, refined salt and sea salt? To me all the salt were the same not until I noticed the ingredient contained in one of the health cereal that I bought recently, it uses sea salt as flavoring, why use sea salt? I was wondering.... It therefore triggered my curiosity to search the web to find out more about the benefits of sea salt.

Live Internet Marketing Preview

I purposely took a half day leave just to attend a so called "Live Internet Marketing Preview" conducted by a local so called Internet Marketing guru from Peninsular Malaysia for Free from 2 - 5 pm this afternoon at an average hotel in the city.

I thought I could learn something out of it after the presentation but much to my dismay, I didn't. The whole 3 hours presentation was like bringing us around the bushes (that's how I felt), the Live presentation was merely showing us the use of Google Key Word Tool for less than 3 minutes. There was no other information given to us on how to go about starting an Internet Marketing Business.

After 3 hours of going round the bushes, he finally revealed what he has to offer, that is a 3 days course of RM4000.00++. He repeatedly mentioned that he doesn't give a damn whether anyone would sign up for the programme or not during the presentation. Do you believe this kind of statement??

He made a discount offer for early birds, that also amount to about RM3000.00. The tactics that he used was kind of pushy, expecting the attendees to sign up immediately by asking us to go in front to make the commitment right away, I just have to tell straight to him that I do not have that kind of money to pay for it, I can tell right away that he changed his interest on the attendees who are not ready to sign up.

Surprisingly quite a number of attendees grabbed the offer and signed up right away. It could be useful by attending the 3 days course, however, so much so that I want to earn on line but I do not think I am ready to spare that amount of money at this moment in time. Time is bad.

I have been submitting some writings to Triond.com for quite a while now, the earnings from Triond is very minimal I must say. Recently, they have intergreted Google adsense with Triond. I appreciate shopping on line very much due to the fact that I hardly got the time and also every time going for a shopping trip, it would turn out to be like chasing games, hide and seek with my two active daughters.
