Home Feng Shui Decorations

Do you believe in Feng Shui ?  To me, it is about being in the environment that involves natural Science, Geography and the human visual.  When someone feeling uncomfortable in a certain area that's the effect of "bad" feng shui to that particular person, then something need to be done to make the place comfortable for his/her living, like de-cluttering and cleaning up (which we are trying hard to do), or removing intruding shape edges, etc.

We always see a lot of feng shui decorations in and around the buildings, shops and people's house.  Most of those decorations are very pleasing to our eyes, with that effect, our mood and spirits are lifted up.  That is the magic of figurines feng shui I think.

I particularly like the little colourful fountain that I bought around this Chinese New Year, I hope the movement of the water and the colourful lights will bring in positive chi into our home.

Home Aquarium

Introducing our aquarium at home.  It is a home for only 3 fish at the moment.  Not any of those expensive breed.  I like gold fish but they are difficult to take care.  My better half likes arowanas but they are usually expensive and requires proper care. So ended up buying a breed that is easy to take care (I will need to ask my better half again what type of fish this is :)))

 

After a few months, I "noticed" that the fish have grown up a bit.  Feeding the fish is not one of my routine at home therefore I hardly put notice on them.  I told my better half that if he wants to have an aquarium he better cares for it.  We are very grateful that our little girl helps her daddy to feed the fish from time to time.

 

According to Feng Shui, placing an aquarium at the right place at home will bring good chi and good luck, so far none yet, probably our aquarium is not placed at the auspicious location in the house.  Any advice from Feng Shui savvy ?? :DD  

Feng Shui & Me

Half a year has gone!!

It took me half a year to open this little booklet of Feng Shui for Monkey 2013 which I bought at the beginning of the year, thought I would learn and find out ways to enhance what's good and what are the remedies can be done to block the no good stuff on the Monkeys this year.  I believe the Feng Shui (things around us) does affect our daily lives to a certain degree but I have not put much afford in practicing Feng Shui in our home. 

I read a few pages of this booklet last night for my reading pleasure.  It would be a long way if one were to to practice Feng Shui by the book.  

Though it did not mention any big fortune for the monkey this year but I will continue to buy jackpot hopefully I will hit the million Ringgits jackpot soon. ^.^ 

Feng Shui book I am reading

I have been trying to finish reading a book that Clet bought for me a month ago, the "Monkey 2010 Fortune & Feng Shui" by Lilian & Jennifer Too. Clet bought one on his animal sign earlier and I requested him to bought one for me too. We have been buying these books for our reading pleasure and references for the last 2 years. Interestingly it tells the recommended feng shui cures, remedies & enhancer for the year in general as well as on each individual animal sign, depending on which book you buy.

The book tells that it is not going to be an easy year for everyone and for Monkey, it is in direct conflict with the Tai Sui and the affliction of the wu wang causes some obstacles to manifest! Oppss..

There are some recommended remedies in this book..but it is quite hard to follow exactly what the book says but it is good to know what is going on "around" us, to me feng shui is about the environment and surrounding at where we are, both our home and our work place.

Feng shui is a very interesting living science, there are so much to learn about.
