Eyes therapy with Rooibos Tea (南非茶)

The benefits of Rooibos tea are abundant.  It is originated from South Africa, therefore it is called "南非茶" in Chinese.  This tea is introduced by a friend to my better half a few weeks ago.  I have seen it in the Cosway catalogue many years ago, to discover its goodness, we bought a box to try.
The taste is just like Chinese tea, it is completely caffeine free, rich in minerals, contains high in antioxidant, improve blood circulations and many other health benefits.  Suitable for young & old. We can read a lot of articles on rooibos tea on the websites.
we chose the organic green Rooibos tea.
My better half will keep the tea bags in the fridge each time he finishes drinking the tea.  He said it is good for soothing the eyes, don't waste the tea bags.
eyes therapy with cold Rooibos tea bags on weekends.  *managed to get a selfie while the tea bags covered my eyes* :D

Skin Care, AnneMarie Borlind Products

My Day Cream pot is empty.  Trying to save by using as little as I can for the last few days, till I can dig no more today. "_"
empty cream pot

I am not very particular in choosing my skin care products so long it is not questionably cheap (the quality of very cheap stuff are questionable) and not overly high priced (those that I can't afford).

For the last 2 -3 years, I have been using some of the Annemarie Borlind's products.  I find their products are of good quality as it claimed.  Annemarie Borlind's products are from Germany,   The company that I work for is the sole distributor of their products,  they are being sold in Malaysia and Singapore.

I have tried their Skin Whitening Fluid, Ceramide Vital Fluid, LL Regeneration Eye Wrinkle Cream, and LL Regeneration Day Cream.  Today, while replenishing my day cream, I am also adding its LL Regeneration Night Cream into my skin care regime.

I have been using this LL Regeneration Eye Wrinkle Cream for 2 -3 year now, I like its non greasy and soft feeling each time I apply it.  I guess it helps me to control the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes.

The new pots of LL Regeneration Day Cream (RM213.00) and Night Cream that I bought today.

A short introduction of these products as it says on the packaging:
  • The LL Regeneration Day Cream is an intensive day protection with the highly effective LL Bio-Complex.  Proven to support the nature regeneration of dry, poorly moisturized skin.  Ideal as a base for makeup.
  • The LL Regeneration Night Cream has valuable herbal extracts and the LL Bio-Complex have been proven to support natural cell renewal and have an oil-restoring and moisturizing effect on dry, poorly moisturized skin.  The skin regains its freshness and elasticity.
Both are with organic botanical extracts.

**This is not a paid post. This review is meant to share my experience with the readers of my blog after I have used the product(s). Your sincere comments and sharing of your experiences on other products are welcome. **

How much do you worry about aging?

Everyone wants to look at their best in front of others.  One can dress up as nice as they can be, put on as much as make up and accessories as they want to, but just how much can we cover up our real biological age? Will you consider doing surgery to restore the youthfulness??

As we start to age, the sign of aging start to appear on our skin, the most obvious ones are wrinkles and age spots.  Each time I look at myself in the mirror, it worries me.  I find myself with more wrinkles and age spots.  Besides worry, what else can I do to stop and reverse the sign of aging??  Invest on expensive skin care products?  No, can't afford.  Change to a more relax, work less and sleep early lifestyle ??  No, can't afford that too..work less means less income, sleep early means more work left undone, relax lifestyle means more leisure and spend more money, what will these result to.......no money more worries and lead to  premature aging, :(

I read about an article written by a member of Triond on Aging Isn't Wrinkle Free, this article gave us a realistic way of looking at aging, it has cleared some of my worries after reading it.  Since we can only do what is within our means to protect our "youthfulness", we can not do much about the process of aging really so why not let us age gracefully!!

My Daily Skin Care

It been a while that I did not buy a facial moisturiser for myself, thanks to a generous supplier. I have been receiving some skin care products as staff annual dinner token from them for 3 consecutive years through the company I work for.

These skin care products are of international recognised quality from Germany, the Annemarie Borlind’s products are manufactured from high quality natural ingredients. I am glad to receive them for free or else I don’t think I could afford to buy them off the shelves. They are of affordable price to many but not for me who do not used to buy expensive skin care products.

The Skin whitening Fluid is to be applied after the day used skin moisturiser but I apply it as day cream alone instead. Save time and save money buying another Day cream !!

Just last month I received a piece of Ceramide Vital Fluid for last year's token, its main function is to restore firmness, radiance and regenerative power to the skin. I have yet to use it but I have heard good testimonials about this product.

Age is catching up fast, can't afford not to use any skin care products to moisturise and delay the sign of aging.

The Eye Wrinkle Cream and the Skin whitening Fluid both from AnneMarie Borlind are the only skin care products that I use for my daily facial care apart from a normal facial cleanser. Other skin care products are not in my budget yet though I am well aware of the essential products and steps that are needed for an ultimate care for our face especially.
