Munchy's Lexus Crackers Biscuits

My colleague shared with me a packet of the Munchy's Lexus Cheese Cream crackers biscuits for me to munch after lunch.  It is really nice, I bought a big packet of it during my visit to the hypermarket a few days later.

I also bought the vegetable flavour immediately on my next visit to the hypermarket

I told my better half that I really like these crackers biscuits, he told me that there is a Chocolate one in the cabinet no one is eating it...I am not fond of chocolate and my girls are very selective on chocolate stuff too..
I like the colour of the packaging, it is my favourite purple.
There are 12 individually wrapped small packets in each big pack.
Cheese cream is sandwiched in between 2 pieces of crackers, simply delicious
6 pieces of vegetable flavoured crackers biscuits in a small packet
I had a packet of each cheese cream and vegetable crackers biscuits with a cup of hot coffee to complete my after lunch munching...
done..!! with satisfying tummy..but seriously I have to reduce my after lunch munching bad habit..

Disclaimer : This is not a paid post.  It is strictly my personal reviews after tasting the products that I bought from the supermarket.  All ideas and pictures are belong to me.

KFC Premium Dessert Tiramisu Cake

While my kids were having the usual KFC chicken and rice meal set, I tried something new in their menu which has been catching my eyes every time we dine at KFC restaurant.

I have been wanting to try the KFC Tiramisu premium dessert since it was introduced in their menu.  The outer box packaging looks like this.
chilled and tightly sealed in a cup
after the plastic seal was taken off
the taste is nice but a bit try
can't expect the texture to be as moist and as fresh as those home made and bakery sold Tiramisu, at least the taste did not let me down.  A cup of hot coffee would be well complemented with it.  If your feel like having a Tiramisu cake on the go, this could be the choice.

Soursop, Graviolo or Custard Apple

I bought 2 fruits from this batch of soursop from the Tamu.  One for my father, the other one for our own consumption. Most of the soursop fruits are sold in Tamu market places, hard to find them in the supermarkets.
The fruits were still not ripen yet when I bought them.  It was overripe when we checked on it after 3 days.  We quickly placed it into the fridge.  My better half and our girls like their fruits cold.
Soursop is a not a nice looking fruit, it has thorns all around the fruit but they won't hurt much when you touch them.
The flesh is soft and creamy, that's why it is also called Custard Apple.  Not many people like its sweet and sour taste.  My girls will take a bite or two if it is served cold.
there are seeds wrapped inside the flesh.  Soursop can be made into juices, and also into soup.  It contains Vitamin C, B, thiamin, riboflavin, naicin, calcium, phosphorus and small amount of iron,  There are many health benefits can be obtained by consuming this fruit.

The seeds look like this

Pottery In Telipok

After our walk about at the Tamu at Giant Kolombong last Sunday, we drove to the outskirt Telipok town to find some flower pots to transplant our overgrown palm tree and we also need pots for our desert roses that we bought at the Tamu.

Choices of pots are more here and prices are cheaper as compare to down town.  I believe they do mass production in their own factory.

variety of pots in different sizes
this pot is the right size for the dessert rose plant
they sell black soil and fertiliser too
while we were looking for the suitable pots, our girls prefer to sit inside the aircon room reading her novel and play game on the phone, confirmed they are not interested in gardening.
a big and healthy cactus
smaller sizes cactus for sell
a small nursery selling desert roses and other plants

They sell buns too ??? haaa...No they don't.  On our way home, we stopped by another outskirt town, Menggatal to have a drink, the buns in Menggatal is one of the famous in Sabah, the texture is soft & chewy.

Halloween Haunted House at Imago KK Times Square

Few days leading to Halloween, the 2-storey haunted house at Imago was opened for visitors.  To promote such an event, those who would like to get a pass into the haunted house can obtain the ticket from any of the shops in Imago by spending RM50.00 in a single receipt. One ticket for every RM50.00 spent.

People must be very excited to meet the Ghosts..look at the queue.
Not just one line but two lines of long queue.  One line went to upstairs and the other line went to downstairs.  My ex-colleague together with her cousins waited in the queue from 10am - 8pm for their turn to enter this ghost house.  They took turns to have meals and to the toilet in order not to be out from the queue.
Only age 16 & above with no heart problem persons are permitted to enter.  They organizer carried out blood pressure test on each visitor to ensure no one gets heart attack when they face the scary ghosts inside the house.  We are not ready for an heart attack so we only stood around to observe, we could hear people shouting and running inside this scary house.  I was told that once they were inside they could not turn back, one way out is to find the key to open the door to get themselves out.  The key was hidden someway inside the house.
the setting around the house

I can imagine it will turn spooky when all the shops are closed and most of the lights in the shopping mall are off during the night.
it is still open for visitors until 15th November.  Some suggested that they want this haunted house to be moved to their kampung land after the event is over..it is a nice house which was built put together within a month.

Weekend Tamu at Giant Hypermarket Kolombong

last Saturday was a school off day for our girls, reluctantly they tagged along to the tamu (open market place) on their daddy request.  After breakfast, we finally arrived at the tamu, finding parking it's always a problem at any tamu market places, one of the option is to double park and be alert to make way for the cars that we blocked at any time.

the ones that caught our girls' attentions are the cats and puppies.  We bought our dog named Lucky at this tamu many year ago.
Live crabs for sell.

there are frogs too..big and masculine ones
dried fish
orchids and plants
dessert rose roots, the colours and types are shown on the stickers.  We bought 3 types of colours at RM25.00 each
the well grown dessert roses priced at RM180.00 per pot
Soursop fruits are hard to find.  I bought 2 at RM8.00 per kg here.  I was told that regular consumption of soursop could cure many diseases.
My better half came for this.  Fertilised black soil for our plants.   RM2.00 per pack.
