My Next Car Purchase

We are always having problems with the power windows of my 10 years old Proton. We have changed all 4 sets of the power window motors some three months ago at the Proton Service Centre, and this morning there show some signs of problem again, wind down and it will not go up, it’s STUCK!!

I had an experience of winding down the driver’s side window to collect a parking ticket at the entrance to my office, the window was stuck, I had to find a safer parking space, spent the next 15 minutes to get this power window up back, and I wouldn’t dare to press the button to wind down that window again. I was late to work as a result. If it was a raining day, I would had become soaking wet till I got to the office. I was told by the car repair workshop that it is the common problem for this make of cars.

After this morning incidence, hubby and I were talking about the age of my car, unavoidably there are areas need to repair and maintain for it to be in good running condition.

I am always thinking of changing or getting another car for the reason that my car is getting old. I have been observing those new cars on the road, local brand cars would be more affordable but again I have been driving local brand cars all this while, upgrading from one after the other, why not consider other made cars, right!? There are a few Toyota Cars that catch my eyes. I particularly like the Toyota Harrier, a metallic gold in colour would be nice, probably I could just dream about it right now, who knows one day I will be able to buy one..a new model one of course!! Alternatively, I am setting my eyes on a Honda CRV, a smaller model of 4-wheel drive that suites me better.

I am working hard on my business now and hope it will allow me to buy the car of my choice..Soon!!

A New Bread Maker

I have been telling Clet that I am buying a new bread maker after I have finished paying the Juicer which I bought 7 months ago. He looked at me kind of asking me do you really need it? Hmmm..yes..since there is an easy payment scheme available. Another kitchen helper why not??

I took back this new bread maker last week (no payment made but deduct gaji for the next 3 months *~*). I have tried to bake a whole meal bread which was easy just follow the recipe. Last Saturday, I attempted to make a cake (followed the recipe that came with the bread maker), the end product was a disaster, Clet said dropping into the dustbin with a strange sound too...that's how bad it was...Pearl trying to help (playing more like it) me to sieve the flour for the cake.

Off they go to eat their Maggi mee...leaving flour every way, got to clean up a bit before continuing with the cake making, hmm...

This Bread Maker has a feature which allows us to put all the ingredient in and set the timer to when we need to start baking the bread. It would be a good idea to have a freshly bake bread awaits us early in the morning or whenever we want it to be. (But I have yet to find out the function, will do that this weekend :D busy bah!!).

Bought from Cebu, Philippines

We have had some girls stuff bought from Cebu lately with the help of the Wong family when they were holidaying there in the early of last month. I had a new bag, the size and design is just nice for casual and working purposes. They also helped to buy some new dresses for Crystal and Pearl, the designs and materials are far better than those made from China as compare to those of the similar price range that we could get locally, i.e. price ranging from RM15.00 to RM40.00. They are altogether 10 pieces of clothing for Crystal as she is growing up fast it would be wise to get more for Crystal so that she can pass it down to Pearl. We had to keep these dresses out of Crystal's sight at the moment we got it as we wouldn't want to overwhelm her by giving her too many new dresses at one time. We thought the dresses are still big for Crystal but after trying one or two on her, we realised that they are just the right size for her to wear right now so I have got to wash them all up ready for her to use amytime.
