Pumpkin Soup Fish meehoon

Recommended by a friend, we went to try the fish meehoon soup near our daughter's school.  We ordered one with fish head and the other with fresh fish meat.

When the bowl of fish head meehoon soup came, my hubby was not very pleased, because he dislikes pumpkin soup.  The soup base is not strong enough to cover the fishy taste of the fish.

First time we tried fish soup with pumpkin as main ingredient.  Overall is less than what we expected. These 2 bowls of fish head and fresh fish meehoon soup cost us RM35.00 for our breakfast.  

Our first Fig Tree - Taiwan Golden Fig (TGF)

We bought our first Fig tree from the tamu place last weekend.  I first heard about fig trees from my colleague last year whom is a facebook fan of one of the local fig farm.  She told me that both the fig seedlings and fruits are expensive but the demand is good despite of the price.

Fig is a nutritious fruit contains minerals, vitamins and fiber, vitamin A, B1, B2, Calcium, iron, phosphorus, manganese, sodium, potassium & chlorine.  It is good to control and lower blood sugar level.  With that reason, we try to plant fig tree at home.  We bought a small plant in a poly bag and transplanted it to a pot with the soil mixture recommended by the nursery.

We also bought a packet of 6 pieces figs fruit (RM16.90 for 160gm) from the local mini market.  Marking our first time trying fresh fig fruits.

Hair Dye - Bigen Speedy

It's time again to dye my graying hair at home.  Though I am lazy to do it but I always remind myself that it is a great blessing that I have hair to dye..because of the hereditary gray hair, it gives me the opportunities to add colour to my hair as frequent as I required to, that's the word of comfort to myself (each time the gray hair start to appear). 

My favourite hair colour brand is Bigen though there are not many color choices, currently I am using its No.875 Copper Brown

At times I would go for total black hair dye like this one from Follow Me Natural Black selection.  Both brands can be bought from the supermarket, prices are cheaper than buying products from the saloons.

 There are 2 tube paste inside the Bigen box, Tube 1 is the color paste, Tube 2 is the Hair color conditioner

start applying the paste by combing onto the hair, I did this in front of the mirror so that I can see where I miss..cover the hair up with a shower cap for 30-40 minutes more or less.  During such time I  could walk around the house to get things done. 

Rinse, wash and dry my hair.  Taadaaa...gray hair have been covered

Heating and Air conditioning services

The weather is still very warm and humid despite occasion rain.  I spend most of my time in the office during week days where I could enjoy the cool breeze in the air conditioned room,  I could feel the heat as soon as I step out from the office at the end of the days' work.

School Folk & Art Songs Singing Competition 校园民瑶歌唱比赛

After many sessions of practicing, my girl is very happy that her class has proved to be the best in 2016 group A inter class folk & art songs singing competition because they are the Champion.  They are the only Junior One class entered into the final and against all odds, they became the champion in Group A Junior 1 & 2 category held in the school hall on 30th April 2016.

I have also recorded the performances of the other classes for your listening pleasure.  But I did not manage to record those of the senior classes because my view has been blocked by those seated in front.

Seminar Unclaimed Money Act 1965

Sometimes it is good to get out of the office to learn something new like attending a seminar.  Being in the Accounts Department, 95% of the time I have to face the computer to get my job done, that requires me to sit down most of the time in the office.  

We hardly got the chance to attend seminars except those attendance are compulsory and free ones. Me and my other other colleague went for a seminar organised by the Jabatan Akauntan Negara last week at their office situated at 9th Floor of Wisma Perindustrian along Tanjung Lipat, Likas.  It was a half day seminar without charge, most of the time they provide light refreshment, which is good.

 

It was the first time I went to Wisma Perindustrian.  Before driving there, I asked my SIL who works at the same building at where I should park.  I arrived there early, I took the opportunity to take the view of Tanjung Lipat from the 9th floor. This is the coastline leading to Yayasan Sabah.

This seminar is very useful for businesses and also individuals, a lot of us thought that the monies that we placed in the bank which has became inactive and dormant are gone forever, in fact we could  claim our money back from Jabatan Akauntan Negara, we just have to get confirmation from the bank that our money has been submitted to Jabatan Akauntan Negara.
