Environmental Issues

There are a lot of environmental issues to consider in each and every projects planning.  A lot of debates and some may lead to legal consequences if the environmental matters are not being taken care of right from the beginning. Wisconsin enviromental consultants is where one can go to for professional advice for all your environmental matters.

We often hear there are protests around the world from group of environmental activists, their intention is good that they serve as watchdog to protect our planet.  However, they can be nuisance and hindrance for the firms to proceed with their construction as planned, some might have to put the whole project on hold for many years awaiting for the environmental issues to be resolved, time costs have been wasted as a result.  We have to recognise that environmental issues is the most important factor to consider when planning for any infrastructure developments both on land and in the sea.  It impacts the earth we live and our next generations that follow, it involves the livelihood of the people, animals, sea creatures, soil, rivers and the lovely corals, etc if there are any on the affected areas.

It is a very challenging area that needs the professional environmental engineering firms to handle. Their experienced engineers and scientists in the related field will help their clients to conduct site investigation, remediation, provide legal support, resource management as well as liaising with the relevant authorities to get everything sorted out from start till the end.  With their vast experiences dealing with environmental issues they will be able to provide solutions to tailor for their clients' individual needs.

Locally, we have the Bakun Hydroelectric Dam in the Borneo Island that have huge environment impact that have affected many of the local indigenous people.  There are still a lot of controversial going on after so many years.

Papers Recycling

It is very effective to start instilling the awareness of protecting our earth from schools. The campaign of having a recycling day initiated by Crystal's school and the cooperation of the parents have made the campaign a success.

The once a week recycling day is fixed on Friday at the school. We have been contributing recycling papers to the school for most of the Fridays for the past one and a half years.

Though she doesn't really understand the full definitions of global warming and waste recycling in their technical contexts (which I don't expect her to), I have heard her using those words in her conversations. She always reminds us to bring recycling papers to her school every week, she gets very disappointed if she misses a week without contributing.

To support this meaningful activity for her school, I always collect used printed papers and used envelopes from the office. We hardly buy newspapers thus there isn't any newspapers from our household for recycling.

I brought home a big plastic bag of used envelopes last week for recycling. Crystal helped to sort out those with stamps and we cut them out for our collections.

A little contributions today will make a big difference in the future, a good environment for our next generations to live, if not better.:D

GO GREEN, NO ALLERGIES AND SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT WITH SILK PLANTS & TREES

We love to have indoor plants and flower arrangements in our home. We used to have some indoor plants and flower arrangements as part of the decorations to enhance our wooden furniture in the living room and a pot of plant in the washroom. However, eversince we had our first daughter five years ago, we removed all of them to protect her from allergies problems caused by the plants and flowers in the house. By doing so it also save us time in maintaning those plants especially when I have my own baby to look after.
But How to Get a Green Thumb? By using silk trees, flowers and plants would be the obsolute solution for going green, solve the allergies problem and save the environment at the same time. Believe it or not? The silk plants look exactly like real!! I particularly like this silk bonsai plant, it would be perfect for putting at the side table with my feng shui figurines, that would sure bring luck to our home.
A silk bonsai plant, it looks really real..
